You do realize he redshirted this year and Kizer is going into the draft as a first rounder. So he has 3 years left to play. That's our biggest selling point. Brandon Wimbush would be a starter instead of riding pine.
Man we could use a big nasty DL like that. shame.
Same thought I had, hope he rides the pine all 4 years.Good.
Most of them don't earn a ND degree. I looked at New Jersey players that went to ND and only 1 NJ player made it to the NFL since 2006, Riddick, even though they recruited quite a few NJ recruits. Quite a few of the recruits transfer out trying to play some college football.Poor guy earning that Norte Dame degree. Whatever will he do.
Sometimes need to remember there is more to a decision than football.

I will never understand people openly rooting against a teenager and hoping they fail simply because they chose to go to a school that isn't their own.

That's because he's not nasty. According to team/classmates and his position coach. If he really was big and nasty, he would have played more. I thought he would end up on the o-line.
And neither him or Garret Sickles were coming after they got the offers from both of their dream schools.Quentin Nelson is going to the NFL this year. Probably 1st round. And Shumate was picked up by the Bucs but then got injured.
Another example of why a kid who is a prized recruit at one school should never take the leftover spots at a bigger name school. It comes with no promises, promises which are made to the kids who they really wanted and got, earlier in the year, every year.Mokwuah switched like 2 weeks before loi day..
Let him enjoy being buried in the depth chart.
Guys like him who go to the "greener pastures" of the bigger programs really bother me
Have no Love or concern if his career is irrevelant...

What makes you think that he would've played over the guys who started for us this year? What has he shown you that he didn't show to his coaches at ND the past 3 years? SMH... the fascination with players who are at so called "name" programs is unreal...
We really lack size on the DL and he would have been a great development project for us. He will never play at ND.
Yes, I expect Nelson to be the second NJ player from ND in the NFL in 11 years, but I think he was a 5 star recruit. Not a good record.Quinten Nelson is going to the NFL this year. Probabalf 1st round. And Shumate was picked up by the Bucs but then got injured.
