Why ask? He's not going to give an answer and I think it's a bit disrespectful because he's shown in interviews that he's not interested in answering the question. Pike is so good to us at the meetings and I think we should be good to him.

what drama? The team is 13-4. There is no drama. On this message board their maybe drama I guess because people can’t seem to fathom why a player who is the 8th best guard on the team in the big 10 doesn’t play. Maybe this is the reason why we are so good..
how what is being handled? Every kiss thread is obviously a joke at this point. We are 13-4 sitting in 2nd place in the big 10 with a huge game on Sunday and we have fans worried about peter kiss? Maybe Rutgers fans are not ready to be good yet.

if the answer is NO to all of those questions than you have just figured out why this is being “Handled” the way it is.

- He doesn't even play in garbage time with the walkons against Caldwell.
- He isn't being redshirted as he has already used his redshirt year.
I agree this seems odd, not going to play him over the main guys but not even in garbage time. Maybe sitting out for a year hopping to transfer to somewhere he can play?

A long time ago, someone posted a detailed rant on this board about a player named Sheridan. The only problem is that we didn't have a player named Sheridan.
This became a running inside-joke about how Sheridan was performing.
This is what is happening: Kiss has been told he’s not playing much if it all barring tons of guys getting hurt. Kiss tells Pike fine - I will do my best in practice but please don’t play me as i don’t want to risk injury - Id like to go somewhere as a grad transfer so I can get playing time. Pike says great.

I doubt it. Kiss will be a fifth year senior next year. As such, Pike doesn't need to send him any coded messages. He can just tell him that his ship isn't being renewed for a fifth year.
