What talent? He's really quick. That's it.Carter’s minutes should go to Duke since he’s got 2 more years. Wish we had another Myles. The kid is becoming a beast. Young is an enigma. So much talent and he’s been very bad. I know there’s a lot of rust, but if it doesn’t shake off soon, he needs to sit too.
He's been asleep at the wheel all year. Talk about Jacob Young or Shaq Carter or Peter Kiss but by FAR the biggest disappointment this year has been Pikiell.
Totally agree. What the hell was that? The team looked so out of sorts and had no real offensive plays. The stood outside on the perimeter with Johnson down low and hoped, hoped, somebody anybody would hit from the outside which of course they didn't.Poor coaching tonight. Pike did nothing but watch as RU ran no offense all first half, just dribbling one on one, turning it over and chucking up bricks from the perimeter. Better adjustment by halftime, but too little too late.
Have to disagree on Duke. He looks like a deer in the headlights every time he’s out there. Can’t shoot, often travels, never kicks the ball out of the post, commits dumb fouls, etc. He’s a recruiting miss plain and simpleCarter’s minutes should go to Duke since he’s got 2 more years. Shouldn’t have yanked McConnell and Harper early and not enough Mathis the last 15 minutes

McConnell 2 fouls early he had to come out...he also struggled.
Young appears to be a whiff and Mulcahy struggled tonight as well.
Not a good combination for those 3.
Agree though, very bad game for Pike. Have to find a way to settle your team down, not turn the ball over and run some damn plays in the first half.
We’ll see how the year progresses, but I gotta say between recruiting and game management, I’m starting to worry a bit about Pike. Love the guy, so hate to say it, but I’m concerned. Hope I’m wrong.
the team is filled with role players
I can't argue with any of that. And you should put Baker in that category, because he was awful tonight. Is McConnell ill?
Carter, Young, McConnell, Mulcahy could easily have stayed home....

He's was the only bright spot tonight.Lost in all this negativity is Myles Johnson, who played great and is starting to look like a big-time Big 10 center. Let’s hope his progression continues. He’s got a huge ceiling.
