Sarge did his job. The email issue was bigger than we all thought when we bashed him for continuing to badger KF about it.

Don't forget, he does have to please his weasel boss. I truly think Sarge is a big RU fan. i've seen him in his spare time at other Rutgers sporting events.

So I will say, and I hope others agree, that I am sorry for the amount of grief Sarge was given in August/September.

F both those dudes. Sarge wrote that BS story about Herman saying the SL should closedown in a class setting and Politi just writes to get clicks. I have no problem with RU being covered by NY media and the Homes News Tribunes of the world.

GO RU

He and the others made a mountain out of very little. After seeing first hand how newspapers in other areas treat their state university, both academically and athletically, the only apologies should come from the anti-Rutgers New Jersey media for how they have "covered" the university for decades.

When, and not if, RU wins big like the conference or play in the CFP the NY media will cover RU extensively. RU has a ways to get there but it will happen. Just look at the fact LA has not had a pro team for so long and USC gets extensive coverage by the LA papers; and will continue to do so even with a Pro team in town. NYC likes local winners and RU is the ONLY P5 team within a 40 min train ride into midtown.

GO RU

Is this thread for real? We don't owe anyone at that hack-pub anything. F them.

Honestly, if Flood were a proven winner a.) no one - scratch that there's always a dissenting opinion here, but ... MOST would not care that much about the whole incident and b.) the Star Ledge probably wouldn't have had a story to begin with. In other words, SL didn't tell us anything we didn't already know: Flood isn't the guy and he needs to go.

So, F them.

Apologize for what ?...this guy is a total azzzwipe ...and just because you may have seen at OTHER Rutgers sports events doesn't mean he's a fan...you need to change your meds.

So, has everyone come to the inevitable conclusion that BaseballFan913 is Keith Sargeant.

I'll give him a little credit for stepping on Politi's head while trying to curry favor, but other than that, this is kind of pathetic.

Flood put "I'm breaking the rules" in writing.

Mike Rice called a player "Lithuanian f*****" and threw basketballs at their heads.

How about we stop hiring idiots who don't win games, and give them nothing to write about?

They had to make up crap about GS, I remember once they said oh why are so many opposing QBs getting injured...it's disgusting but guess what, the national media will not talk about it.

What they will talk about is what you are stupid enough to put in writing or on tape.

An apology for what? Never.
He might consider offering an apology to RU athletes including my daughter when he posts an article titled "for Rutgers athletes when it comes to drugs, 3 strikes and you're not out."

Is that you Sarge? Screw that, the SL did about 90 articles and said Flood should be fired before the investigation was finished. It one thing for fans to say he should be fired. We're irrational. But, calling for him to be fired every day by them was dumb

Screw the paper and both reporters, apologize? No.
They covered this very small story like we were worst than
N.C. where they had a thousand violations, How much did
the North Carolina papers slam that program. I think the N.J.
papers should cover this stuff, but not blow it out of proportion.
Man I tell ya, some of that shik was just brutal.

No, we do not owe anyone an apology to any writers (I'll exclude Todderick Hunt from the following, to be fair) at the paper whose Sports section I'd rather wipe my ass with than read.
