How many more games do we win?

I feel we can beat Illinois and Indiana. We also have a chance against Minnesota, Penn State and Maryland. We are not the only team that will get taken to the wood shed by Ohio State. One huge problem seems to be our receivers. The only one to catch a pass yesterday was our redshirt freshman Harris. Why can't anyone else step it up. That is sad. I think our running backs might have to carry us in any game we have a chance. Laviano threw at least 3 or 4 passes at the feet of guys yesterday. I sure hope someone else gets a chance a QB real soon. We should be recruiting some really good receivers for the future. Yesterday Patton and Flanagan both dropped a pass they should have had. I thought these guys were supposed to improve this year. Is Agadousi still on the team?

The tenure of Ash at Rutgers will be determined by recruiting the next 3 seasons. The absence of play makers can't be hidden in league competition.

On the lighter side, maybe we can do the X's and O's and tell the qbs what to do, but nobody can actually show them how to do it. Can any of our coaches throw a pass in practice ?
The other thing is that CA really must have thought with all the qbs available, someone would be able to run some semblance of what he envisioned. But he has to be more surprised than disappointed in how it hasn't worked so far. Hate to think we're in hope for the best situation.
If they can adjust the offensive scheme and mix in a little of the old sets, that might help. But it might be too confusing to our qbs except that maybe then someone can get us thru this season. I know this isn't goal, but it might give us a chance until the real system people are at RU.
Really can't see us doing much the way we are playing.
Yes, after Mich things get somewhat better, but we really won't have a good chance to beat any team that was considered a swing game. Might as well put Minn up there with MSU now that they got their RB back. If CL could just run our offense better, we would probably look something like Minnesota and that would be a good place for RU.

Our first goal should be to find someone that can throw a decent pass in the spread offense.

This has to be the most ill informed post I've ever read.

The UMDNJ takeover had practically nothing to do with the Big Ten. UMDNJ was a nightmare. The medical school should never have split from Rutgers in the first place.
Exactly.. that was a very bad deal made at teh time of becoming the State U. The politically connected using the UMDNJ budget to create no-show jobs for friends and family never would have happened had Rutgers Trustees been in power over the medical school. And this is exactly why the politicians want to get rid of the BOT. They want to create open season for the entirety of the Rutgers budget.

BTW.. I voted 3 or more, not because I have any logic to back it up.. I just prefer to be optimistic in the hopes that the coaches decide to try to put the best offense it can muster on the field doing things it CAN do rather than what they would like it to do.

If they say they don't have the right players right now.. then why practice the wrong players in something they are not suited to do if you are just going to replace them with your players later? Help them win now.
