For someone who just got his ass kicked, It looked like Flood was ready to give Harbaugh a kiss. Wtf.

It's a petty complaint I have, but he always looks so desperate for some sort of reassurance from the opposing coach. And they always seem to be running away before Flood lets them go.

Maybe he's trying to suck up to be a ball boy for MI next year. pretty much only thing he's qualified for on a football field.

Do we have to complain about everything? Did you not like what Kyle had for breakfast?

Networking for his next job.

Holy Crap, are we a miserable lot.

Not a miserable lot, at all. Simply the frustration being expressed by the great majority of a fanbase sick to death of seeing a team look like they're completely lost being led by a coaching staff that is completely lost.

Sorry, when you start critiquing the way Flood shakes hands with the opposing coach, you are a miserable human being. Flood is a poor coach and has to go but not because he conducts good sportsmanship.

I'm not miserable at all. -And nobody is critiquing his handshake. What's being critiqued is the fact that Flood doesn't know anything at all about being the HC of a major college football program.

And don't make him out to be some sort of a saint because he politely shakes hands. He's shown he's not above breaking the rules if he feels the need. He got suspended for 3 games and fined 50K for doing it. -Yes, he's truly a "paragon" of virtue.

And if you're happy with seeing this horse manure type of performance week after week, then...ENJOY!

Anyone catch Turay laughing with Jabril Peppers afterwards?

Obviously, you are seeing only what you want to see. First this thread is complaining about Flood's behavior AFTER the game, i.e., how he greeted Harbaugh. Second, I clearly stated that Flood has to go which should indicate to you that I am not happy with his performance.

Reading comprehension is a must if you are going to participate on an internet message board.

My reading comprehension is perfectly fine. -Certainly good enough to determine your attempt at being insulting is exceptionally weak. ...But, keep trying if you must.

Still like Doug Graber's handshake with Paterno the best:

Absolutely, positively, unarguably, undeniably a miserable lot. There no more excuse for the sort of crap that comes our of our fans when things are going poorly than there is for the coaching staff's failures this season.

I don't mind when players smile after a loss. For example turay probably knows Peppers since both are from NJ and just wanted to talk. No big deal

I'll admit that I'm miserable about Rutgers' play.

And, BTW, I think that in the post-game handshake, Kyle was showing appreciation that Harbaugh didn't run up the score more. UMich had 35 points by halftime, there is no reason they couldn't have scored 70 if they wanted.

You're entitled to your opinion, as I am to mine. Won't change the way you feel and won't change the way I feel. -And I doubt there are many, if any, fanbases that would put up with the garbage RU fans have had to endure through the decades. For the overwhelming majority there's an eventual limit to what they'll take, but there are always a few out there who seem happy to say, "Thank you, sir, may I have another?" -Which, of course, is their right if that's what they want and what they're satisfied with.

And?

I distinctly remember the UM LB that Nova escaped from to throw a TD last year was smiling and yakking it up with Nova after the game. It happens.

That's something that has always pissed me off about the NFL. I just dropped 500 to watch you get your asses kicked and you guys are joking with the other team at the 50. I get it's their job and they are getting paid millions but at least make believe you care.

But that's just it. Absolutely nobody has said that they are satisfied. Not a single person on this board has stated that they are happy about the season. Nobody thinks Flood is doing a great job.

What makes this place miserable is how our online fan-base handles the situation. The posts have become ridiculous. People here are behaving exactly like spoiled children who aren't getting their way.

So you tell me. How is behaving like spoiled children justified in ANY situation? How does this behavior help? It can't possibly make anybody feel better (and if it does, that says something pretty awful about us). It doesn't make the team play better. It doesn't make the coaching staff more capable.

I guess I just don't enjoy wallowing in self-pity the way so many here do. My bad.

Coach ClusterFlood is our Rich Kotite. Remember how he would seek sympathy from the other coach after a loss.

Congrats. Well, then enjoy wallowing in whatever it is you do wallow in.
Some seem to wallow in trying to appear superior to other fans... If he or she is a fan.

I am supposed to feel bad and be called miserable because I can see that Flood has no business being a coordinator, never mind a head coach. This goes beyond the Peter Principle.. Kyle rose PAST his level of incompetence.

Since he has a math background, let's call it the FLOOD FALLACY. Inexplicably rising above your level of incompetence to a position where you can make one illogical and unreasonable decision after another. #FLOODFALLACY

Flood just acts like he's a winning coach or right on the edge of winning. But in actually, he gets blown out by every decent team we play. It's not even close. That's why everything he does and says is annoying. . None of it is working yet he keeps doing and saying the same thing over and over and over. That's pretty ridiculous if you think about it. At least attempt to show you're trying a different approach.

GoodOl, I actually agree with you 1000%. -Since you quoted what I said, I hope it wasn't taken in the wrong way. I'm right there with you that's it's completely ridiculous to call others "miserable" fans simply because they want better for RU than what's presently happening on the field.

I was agreeing with you.. Unfortunately the new system doesn't quote what you quoted. So it is harder to follow. I think mildone is a miserable fan ., support or oppose Flood's handling of the team, you can be a miserable fan... And attacking fellow fans for voicing their opinions might be a good marker to identify the truly miserable fans
