why do people keep throwing Al Golden out there? He couldn't win at Miami with highly ranked recruiting classes and a large number of guys getting drafted. What makes anyone think that changes at Rutgers against better competition?
I'm a strong proponent of bringing back Schiano. The man never had Big Ten membership to use in recruiting and has had time to reflect and tweak his coaching style since his firing at Tampa Bay. Now throw in NFL head coaching experience and I think he's a home run. Does he want to come back here? That I'm not sure of.
