President Obama @ RU Commencement (merged)

I was wondering if Air Force One was landing at Joint Base MDL and then shuttling the President over, or if they'll go straight from wherever he is now over to New Brunswick via Marine One. With the air show at the base it's probably not be feasible, but they don't exactly release the President's itinerary in this "most free world ever". I live semi-close to the base & would've gotten a kick out of seeing AF1 flying overhead.

Stadium looks great. Now maybe we can use the same set up for a Bruce concert gor the benefit of Rutgers Athletics. Been trying to promote and get this done for years. Now that we see how the stadium can be set up with seats on the field etc this could become a real possibility.

Let's hope the students finally get the R U chant right. I will be disappointed if the stadium does not break out into a few of those.

I saw two jets that appeared to be flying out of Newark. Both of them had the American flag painted on the tail.

Is this Air Force one?

Why couldn't they use the Brown recruiting lounge deck for POTUS? You could seat a lot more people that way.

Would be nice to see the flags of the other BIG schools flying in the wind today around the top of the south end zone. Any plan for this to happen?

Not sure if there are specific plans in place, but this was brought up at the last fan advisory board meeting. It's done at the RAC, can't see why it can't be done at HPSS
