Princeton Football HC Bob Surace talks Rutgers hiring OC Sean Gleeson

I was wondering what type of a recruiter he might be and how similar/different it is recruiting for the Ivies versus a place like Rutgers. Sounds like he develops a good rapport with kids and has had some success particularly at the QB position.

Apparently he's recruited well in California as both QB's mentioned were from there. I wonder if he'll continue recruiting in CA for RU?

In the Ash Era we were lucky to have 3 capable QBs on the roster yet less on the field at the same time.

Not really. We had some guys who left who were possibly marginally better than some other guys who stayed. We recruited no one who was a legitimate Big Ten starting QB.

We also had no offensive identity or player development....so there's that.

We didn't have any B1G talent, but there were a few guys who seemed better in practice, but never got a shot. Apparently, Ash and Co. thought the guys we used were better. We'll never know.
