There are other problems than just defending opponents post players. On offense missed layups, mediocre foul and 3 point shooting and no go to scorer at crunch time.I was at a RU-Princeton game decades ago, and their coach got two techs and ejected
Pete Carril, it was.... you don't get to see that often.
our problem as I see it is that some of the top 3 or 4 teams in the conference abuse us inside for
layup baskets, over and over, while we have to work much harder for a basket....
we are a supposedly big team, but there are really really good strong big men in this league.
otherwise, I think we could be right there, talent wise....we just can't make up for that one
deficit....which is a big one
Interesting that John Beilein just said in his postgame interview that he addressed the team at halftime about what to do in the second half.
Nothing will ever come of it because of his pretty spotless past, but you would think that an ejected coach shouldn't be allowed to talk to his team at halftime after being ejected. Unless I am wrong about that.
Best of Luck,
Groz
It was a pretty poorly played game by both
Are you sure you watch Rutgers basketball this year? I think your comment applies to maybe one or two games.I was at a RU-Princeton game decades ago, and their coach got two techs and ejected

He could have worn a mustache sunglasses and a hat and pretended not to be Bobby Valentine.
