PSU vs. Rutgers on BTN at 9:00

I don't think I can watch it again. I watched one replay and it seemed like the PSU linebackers were always in the right place. And then on special teams at the end their returners totally faked out our cover guys by not moving to the ball. They had a chance to down the ball near the goal line. Too painful to watch again.
I'm going to watch something a little more uplifting. Trying to choose between The Human Centipede or The Life and Times of Cecil the Lion
I don't think we will see a PSU team as bad as the 2014 version was for a long time, especially with the way PSU has been recruiting.
Agreed. That is why I have been so upset with our Pres, AD, Coach and everyone at RU. The time to strike was two years ago while PSU and Mich were down. Haurbough is going to get Mich rolling big (Look what he did with smart kids at Stanford! Think about what he is going to do with kids who play.) PSU = If Franklin has a good season this year and we falter, its back to the 1980s.
They may not set the world on fire this year but there is no way they will be as bad on offense as they were last year. I expect their defense to be tough, as always.
You can't fix an o line in one year and any RU fan should know this. They will be dangerous because they have a first round QB but they will still struggle mightily on O.
ok, all I'm saying is that the early Vegas line for our game against PSU is PSU -11 so some pretty savvy lines makers think they are going to be better this year.
Right. All I'm saying is the guys that do this for a living think PSU will be better this year than last year.
Not gonna argue but guys don't do something because they think they are better....they do it to get action. We were also dogs in like 5 of our 8 wins last year.
fair enough...let's say they are just as bad as they were last year. If that's the case, I sure hope we have gotten better. We have a new oline and a new QB...in my mind that presents more question marks than what Jimmy Franklin is facing.
Nova completes that sideline pass to Kroft with 5 minutes to go and all would have been forgiven.
i watched that play again last night. in fairness to Nova, he had defenders in his face, back pedaling when he threw the ball....so it wasn't like he just missed him....he was a bit under duress. point is...defense gets some credit on that play....not as easy of a pass to complete as many would assume.
however, agreed....if he completes that fairly difficult pass to Kroft, it would've been a crushing blow, if not sealing the game.
the only other thing I'll say is that game was tight throughout, so it's never just 1 play that caused the outcome.
We need to be more like Michigan State they are not world recruiters but they developed kids and can hang with anyone in the country..
Well, it looks like this year isn't going to be much different. Paris Palmer isn't working out at LT and they may need to shuffle the OL. I don't think it can be AS bad as last year but it is starting to sound like it might not be a whole lot better.
