i think we're all excited about Russo and having been a collector all my life, a basic truth is that usually your most recent shiny object is your favorite. Having said that, the summer/spring reports have Dare performing really well with a very strong arm. Barring injuries, I expect he will red shirt. Regardless of how this year goes, I suspect Dare will push both with a good chance of winning the backup spot and Russo red shirting next year. My guess is that whoever loses the starter job will probably transfer out. I know this is how the game is played but it makes me sad nonetheless. Both kids have talent and by all accounts are well liked and equally deserving. As much as I get excited about the kids, and maybe I just become too invested, I really have a hard time when things like this happen. Is it just me?
