As I have stated all along, I thought Hayden Rettig was the better of RU's two quarterbacks as did pretty much every other media person who covers this team. But it seemed like Flood was pushing for Laviano all along and I am not sure Rettig could have done much more. His progression from spring to summer was huge and I would figure that would only continue. I think the offense will need the QB to make some big throws this weekend against Wash State. With Laviano in there, I am going to have to think a little harder about my game prediction which I will reveal on Friday. Nevertheless, Laviano could prove me wrong as he will have his chance on Saturday. Here is my article on what I referred to as Flood's questionable QB call.
