question about lack of diversity

I'm sorry but i have to ask, I know it will be controversial but as a casual follower of womens bball, i have noticed that our teams are dominated by black players.

Again not looking to pot stir here at all, but i don't think the rest of women's bball is like this. Its just and observation but i dont think we've ever had a white player of star caliber. I seem to recall Uconn having more balance and if memory serves right some of those great Tennessee teams...

So i must ask, Why?

Seems like its a Rutgers thing...mens bball lack diversity too.

I've randomly googled team photos and many schools go from 40/60 to 60/40.

I've looked at some RU team photos and its 20-30% white.

sorry its an observable fact. I know its totally cool for us to discuss these types of things when black players say a white coach is racist . I think this is fair game.

Geno from Uconn has had stars of all races play for him. Can you name 1 star player that was white for Cviv?

And i'm not even saying she is racist, but she doesn't seem to be recruiting at a high level if we can't land 1 top white player.

So let me get this straight... you're a self-described "casual follower" of women's basketball, yet you have time to google photos of our past teams as well as those of other schools and calculate their "diversity quotients"? And then, just an hour or so after starting this thread, you decide that it's not getting enough action, so you start the same thread on, of all places, the football board?

I don't know why this matters to you, but I have concerns about your intentions (especially after you quickly removed part of the original post that another poster quoted). Since your approach is unlikely to lead to any meaningful discussion, I'm locking this thread.
