Saw on FB Rutgers Bball posted a season ticket holder spotlight, which now this is the second time they featured you.. regarldess.

Favorite Current Players ? Shaq Doorson and Eugene.

I get Eugene, he was great last year. But what in the world has shaq done that you like him so much?? Just curious? because that 2 points per game is really something to cheer.

Probably because he has stuck around for 5 years, coaching changes etc and seems to have a great attitude. Also BK interacts with the team, sees that he is a good kid and great ambassador for the program. Not all about stats brotha
Couldn’t have said it better myself!

I love all the kids in the program right now...but by and large the guys I have lasting relationships with after basketball weren’t always “in the rotation”.

Come find me at a game and I’ll explain it a bit more in depth

Totally get it, I didn’t think of that and how connected you were with the program, I just couldn’t think of an on court reason to like him lol but I only looked at it through tunnel vision

Stats by themselves don't make a player someone's favorite. My favorite Met growing up was Rod Kanehl; certainly not based upon stats.

I have a buddy who plays with Door and Issa and friends and says to a man that they are all great guys. Are they Uber talented? No but they are the precursors of us turning a corner.

Hot Rod,Marvelous Marv and Choo Choo made the original Met team bearable .Casey managing the team was a big plus.
For nicknames, Jammin James still is one of the best
