So I follow him on Instagram and for the last 2 weeks he's been in florida and california, my question is, if he is gonna return to school, how is he even academically eligible? I know athletes get help and all but is he ever attending class?

Never thought of taking Online Classes, which in all likelihood means, hes not actually taking it haha

Not every major college offers is that rigorous.

I remember my friend who was a criminal science major whining about how he had to go to Alexander Library to write a two page paper.

I think he even took adderal to write it. Pretty depressing.

This is twice in 2 years. I wish NCAA would at least pretend players are student athletes. These draft camps should be after college school year ends.

They're all scheduled for Kentucky's players, once their NCAA tournament run is over.
The NCAA doesn't have to pretend there any student athletes at UK, at least on the men's bball team.

The academic calendar for the kids whose hoops season just ended doesn't end until May. With the way it is the 1 and done kids go to class and stay eligible for the Fall semester and then they don't have to go to class again if they choose not to. It doesn't matter that they would be academically ineligible for the start of next year because they are gone.

They need to pass a rule that if a player goes to the draft with eligibility remaining and they are academically ineligible then the school looses that scholarship for the next year. I don't care if the kids aren't coming back but make them go to class while in school.

Then you'd have to move the signing period for basketball into late May or early June. Schools could miss out on a player who isn't willing to wait to see if an early entry player backs out of the draft and returns to school.

Meanwhile, teams want players to report for summer school in June so the staff can begin workouts with them. Particularly the freshmen.

Moving the draft camps to after the school year ends won't affect some schools but any program that's any good would definitely be affected.

One of the weeks in March the school was on spring break so that could explain part of it. As for the extended period I mean you would assume he would be in class but as all of us know in college depending on classes and your mindset, you don't actually need to be in class to pass a class and do the necessary work to write papers or take exams. However I'm sure it's a non story as pike and staff have to know what he is up to and what needs to be done to keep him academically eligible should he return for his junior year.

What's he doing for a living now?
