Let's list the great NJ-based companies who could step up and easily do this:
Fortune 300:
Wonder how deep the RU connections are at any of these?
- Johnson & Johnson
- Merck
- Prudential (and I don't care if SH plays in their arena in Newark)
- Honeywell
- PBF Energy
- Cognizant Technology Solutions
- Becton-Dickinson
- Celgene
- ADP
- Newell Brands
- NRG Energy
- Public Service Enterprise Group
How about instead of the horribly outdated "Home of the Scarlet Knights" on the side of the building, we saw the logo of one of these and Block R? Perfect together. Would be cool.
Also goes to show a company like High Point or SHI can do the stadium, there are surely even more mid sized companies out there who could do the RAC.

There are threads on here and the Issues Board that did some photoshop work of stuff like that. How about instead of the horribly outdated "Home of the Scarlet Knights" on the side of the building, we saw the logo of one of these and Block R? Perfect together. Would be cool.
Sounds reasonable. Florida Atlantic just signed a ten year $5 million deal for naming rights of its arena.Of course, just like we all call it Rutgers Stadium. But it’d still be nice to rake in a few dollars right? It seems like the time is right to seek sponsorship soon. The economy is on somewhat stable footing. WBB appears on the road back to national prominence, MBB doesn’t stink anymore, wrestling hosts well attended meets. It has to be worth 750k a year, no?
And it's not even about the number of seats necessarily. It's the number of eyeballs via various media and you would think there's more interest in the visitors coming to the RAC than those coming to FAU.Sounds reasonable. The FAU arena has 3k fewer seats than the RAC.
Well with just about every game on TV these days because of the B1G this is a great reason for an organization to consider this. And it's not even about the number of seats necessarily.
