RAC Parking

It sucks. Buy passes on secondary market.

Not sure if Greek Church season parking pass is a premium over RAC, but I would certainly look into it.

It's not that bad. I have been parking there for a few years. Need to stop tailgating a bit early in order to get on the buses. Flip side is we get to see the band march pass the stadium.

Yeah I don't mind either. The lines do move and once I am in my car I am out of the parking lot in 5 minutes and on the highway in 15.

Johnson Park or even the private yards on the side street by the Greek Church is much better.

Some posters have shared positive experiences parking at the RAC, some have posted bad experiences on the bus (drunk undergrads), my buddy likes parking at Johnson Park, says getting out is quick (short walk, not much traffic).

Did it once because I forgot my parking pass. Never again. It's better to walk back to the RAC than wait for an hour on line. It's about a 30 minute walk.

Its awful particularly on the way back from the game. I got my tickets and had no parking pass. I called was told that they had forgotten to insert. I was relieved that I had parking until they told that after atleast eight years of silver parking I was being relegated to the RAC! I didn't even realize there were lower valued lots on Busch than that but evidently there are (tan and light blue?) and I did not qualify for them either. They explained that more season ticket holders who could request a second pass did so and that they are down a couple of hundred spaces due to a construction project on Busch. I understand this is a business and priority points rule but this is a deal breaker beyond this year. It would have been nice if they would have just called once it was clear that I was RAC bound and offer me the opportunity to cancel out my parking request. I certainly would have done so. They maintain they could not and there are no refunds! I will say this, the representative I dealt with was very professional, probably more than I was during portions of the three conversations we had that day. If I write a note I will certainly point that out.

Parking downtown and walking or bus to game is pretty good. The walk back is easier then the bus to RAC and then you can hit bars and restaurants . Go to Old Queens pre game and free ride over in limo for patrons . Walk from college ave or gateway garage is closer then RAC or many stadiums I have been to around country .

I was in the green lot last year, and got so frustrated exiting after the games, that I actually requested RAC this year. The line for busses is a pain, but once you are back at the RAC, exiting is easy. I can be on rt1 ten minutes after getting in my car.

I was downgraded this year too to the RAC. Did someone say in a previous post the solar panels help protect your tailgate a little?

Where did you get that number?
My guess = you are quoting the 2014 rate.
I believe I saw that the church was $250
The Greek Church is $ 250 this season. This is my second year there. It's great. I had to park at the RAC for several years when I worked at the stadium for games. The wait for buses after close games was horrific! I would easily choose Johnson Park, private homes on Riverview Ave (Greek Church street) or the Greek Church before considering the RAC
