agree with everyone. The volume of the so-called music when we walked in at about 6:30 was beyond ridiculous. Embarrassingly and annoying.

nice crowd for such a cold icy night......5700 or so official attendance, looked to be about 6K though IMO. student section filled late but not sure that they were the regular students, not as into as previous games

get loud late, quiet in first half...solid RAC crowd but nothing noteworthy

Very few actual students in the student section. RAC atmosphere was just okay last night without the students there. Not close to the SHU game atmosphere

I've argued about this for years in football and it's starting to get bad at wrestling matches. Whoever we have hired to run the audio/visuals are complete amateurs at their chosen profession. It's like we picked up some kid off the street and said give it a whirl kid and crank up the volume. Football is the worst. They play that air guitar thing way too long and don't let the crowd noise get ramped up. On offense they play friggin canned music, up to the snap. Who the F plays music while we're on offense, it's supposed to be dead quiet. Many times they play canned music over the band.

Matt Colaglovanni is the Senior Associate Athletic Director Facilities, Events and Operations he's the man solely responsible for these debacles. A simple job and he's completely incompetent at it. I've already e-mailed him several times about my concerns.

All I want at the RAC is a PA announcer who can actually pronounce the word “Rutgers.” The current guy can’t even do that!

I believe students are back to class Jan. 16. So, Iowa should have students.
