Even before the Penn State game, I was searching the sites of opposing B1G teams to see what they were saying about Rutgers, and the responses varied greatly. The usual top teams of the B1G are giving respect while the middle to lower-end teams is in panic and b*tch mode. A few others can't think about Rutgers due to their lousy situation.
Respectful:
Michigan fans are starting to believe Rutgers is for real and may beat them. Don't know why UM agreed to play a home game in Rutgers' backyard.
Indiana fans think Rutgers is going to slap them around.
Purdue fans are saying it's going to be tough to deal with Rutgers.
Hateful:
Northwestern fans can't believe, and a few went as far as to say NW turned down Paul Mulcahy (couldn't get in).
Minnesota fans, especially a few, will not give Rutgers any respect even if hell freezes over. They continue to pencil the game as an easy win at the RAC.
Penn State fans keep calling Rutgers a safety school for them, and our fans are trash.
Self-pity:
Iowa fans are in shock about how the season is unfolding. They can't even think about us.
Wisconsin fans are focus on themselves except for a few who run to the Kenpom to justify they are a better team than Rutgers this year.
Have no idea what they think:

Illinois
Nebraska
Maryland
