That's why I hate all other B1G teams. Their fans are condescending when it comes to us. There always seems to be backhand compliments or outright disrespect. Never do you read or hear opposing B1G fans give level-headed opinions.
What do you want them to say? We have sucked in this league. Respect is earned on the field , not by how many cable boxes you got in your neighborhood
No. You have to be a fool think any of their comments are honest. From the minute we entered the B1G, there has been nothing but hate mostly out of fear. Schools like Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, and even Wisconsin feared a shift of where they may ended up in the new B1G pecking order. That has never changed since 2014. It has nothing to do with respect.

Baring injuries the Offense (8 starters return) should build on last year's improvement. It's on Defense where it's a crap shoot. Should be in a good spot at LB. The DL MUST create more Sacks and plug up the Run D. The DB's are a concern esp if Elad loses his court case. Special teams are fine.
It's really just going back to the schedules we had for the 1st 10 yrs. Even though those we're lean times in the win department, there's no doubt our talent over the last few years has improved immensely.
That was mostly on Defense { sans Kyle and Pierce} and the way they performed the D can only get better this season. 7 wins is the floor and upside for more.
You go from reasonable to miserable on any given day. At least many of our fans are miserable every day. Be consistent at for gods sake.
