Rashan Gary's Mom -- Will Coach Ash make a visit?

Since his mother has made more than a few posts on nj.com, I have a feeling this thread will reach her attention....and if it does, it will be very interesting to see if she publicly responds to such a rumor as the Lincoln Navigator.

For what it's worth, I know of football players whose families paid for a nice SUV for their son as soon as it was clear he would be getting a full ride. In other words, I don't think an SUV is a red flag.

Word has it (from some little birds here in Michigan) that the new Lincoln Navigator Rashan Gary and family will soon be enjoying is an indicator that he will be coming to Michigan. I hope the vehicle thing is not true, and I would like to believe it's just nasty rumors spread by trolling trouble makers.

Please ignore the knuckleheaded comments on this forum. Many of the comments are rooted in jealousy and admiration. Good luck to Rashan Gary as he makes his choice. Playing close to home at Rutgers for one of the finest defensive coaches in the nation would have many advantages. Rutgers has a fine track record of preparing young men for the NFL and life after football. We have it all here at Rutgers.

Yup... if the Lincoln Navigator story is true (I hope it's not), one would believe that there is going to be a legit/proper leasing paper trail set up by friends of friends of an affluent Michigan booster. I'm sure these folks know how to be very good at hiding such activity, and no direct link to Michigan will be established.

Lincoln Navigator?

Ugh. Porsche Cayenne or nothing, when it comes to full-size SUVs. The Navigator is a vestigial land yacht and should go the way of T-Rex without further fanfare.

I just spoke to one of my in-laws, who is a big Michigan booster. Apparently the Navigator is off the table - Rashan is getting a Honda Accord.
