I agree, but if playing competitive sports is as important to him As I think it is, it's vital to his being.I hope that this is true -- someone close to the situation told me at the very beginning that he was the one player that would be exonerated, but I did not know if this was based on his bias. Whether Gross wrestles or plays football is secondary; If all the positive things I have heard about him are true I want to see him back in school.
Spot on! I wish the young man well.I agree, but if playing competitive sports is as important to him As I think it is, it's vital to his being.
He'll have to wrestle off with Ralph Normandia I'd imagine, and not sure at this point if he would beat him. We're probably way ahead of ourselves , of course.
Hey, Big Match tonight, Lehigh !
Yes he won states at 195 in 2013 went 29-2 actually beat Messner twice that year. He had a career mark of 127-18. 4 District, 3 Region titles. I believe he's a lot better than Normandia even with the layoff. At 5'11 250 same body type as Jimmy Lawson and strong as an ox, I think he would fill in nicely at heavyweight for a year or two(not sure how much eligibility left).I have not heard but assume he would be coming back without any scholarship aid and that Goodale/Hobbs would have to pre-clear this with the administration. Hard to believe he might not be better off just starting fresh elsewhere. As I recall he was a very good wrestler in HS. Did he win the states his senior year?
