Reasso talks Lalas, Final Fours, career on Scarlet Spotlight podcast (link)

That's obviously one side of the story but the first time Bob has told it publicly.

Thanks for all the board and social feedback we’ve gotten on this one.

Jon and Danny (or anyone else) - found the conversation around the “birthplace of college football” very interesting...anywhere I can read more info about this?

@littlenis5 The origin is apparently that Tufts study from last decade, which contested whether Rutgers was the Birthplace of College Football, due to the rule set used in the 1869 game. By that logic, they attributed the Rutgers/Princeton game to the birth of college soccer.

It wasn't widely accepted, so the College Football Hall of Fame still embraces RU/Princeton, as well as the Soccer Hall of Fame (which Bob Reasso told Glenn Crooks to check out and confirm).
