Who cares if Rutgers has the number one or number 3 class?
Both are rarified air and number one comes with as many burdens as benefits. What matters to me is that:
Rutgers and Duke are in the same sentence.
Rutgers is now a national and not a regional destination.
Rutgers will be ranked preseason by everyone next year and it is a lot easier to start at number 15 then try to break in after going say 5-0.
This was improbable in 2015. Actually tougher than improbable. Impossible.
