Report: Maryland's Mitchell Twins to Enter Transfer Portal

Most Maryland fans aren't too upset. They weren't playing well and not good in the locker room either from what I understand.

Maryland has another big that has been out injured that they now can plug into the lineup.

I'm a tad disappointed, because while they were underwhelming so far, I thought they were four-year players who might end up being pretty good. But they are known as "low-motor, high maintenance" guys and I think Turgeon had had enough of them.

Apparently there was some type of confrontation with the older players at a practice, and at least one of the twins was going to be suspended or disciplined. Coincidentally (not according to Mom), another freshman center, Marial Chol, was about to see the court for the first time (he did, and was very good). This set Mom off on a Twitter tirade against Turgeon from which there was no coming back.

It's best for everybody. The twins will resurface somewhere.
