Strong Twitter rumors that Paul is gone and potentially transferring. Would be Huge loss if true.

And even if he did, did he ask Pike for a raise first? I’m heard stories from coaches at mid-major programs about their players threatening to enter the portal if they didn’t get raises and they got them. Those schools had a lower budget than we did and their players would’ve gotten looks from some P5 programs too. I highly doubt we couldn’t accommodate Paul for one season if all he wanted was more in NIL money.

If Paul leaves for Illinois, Coleman Hawkins is one of the biggest Rutgers Villains in some time to me. It was out there on a Twitter space that he loved Rutgers but didn’t want to come only because he wanted to go to a Nike school. And now just trolling for no reason…
I can’t find the other Tweet strings about this outside of the one above. If Palleaves for Illinois (of all places) in mid June that means he’s angry at the program and looking to make a statement. There’s no other explanation. He donates his NIL - not about money.

I agree up until the point PIkiell made public comments about him. That's an NCAA violation if he hasn't signed.
There were multiple questions about Davis being "official" and they were shouted down because "insiders" assured everyone he was signed.
Well, the same "insiders"assured everyone "Paul is returning" despite no official announcement from Paul or Rutgers.
Now that looks like it may not be the case?
Its a general point - relying on the assurance of insiders isn't the end all be all. Asking for official announcements isn't a bad thing and doesn't deserve the negative reactions they get.
With Davis I believe the mods confirmed he was signed multiple times. People just ignored them.

I am sure there could be many factors involved, but I very highly doubt that idiots on this board have any impact
Blanket statements aside, are you sure its the same "insiders" who are talking about both Davis and Paul? By my observation its all just a bunch of different people posting opinions on a fan forum.
