Ross Douglass in the Starting Lineup

I can't decide whether this is a good move or a ridiculous move. I know he's playing a hybrid and other players have done it in the past. Moreover, with the spread offense, you don't really want or need Bryan Cox type guys playing linebacker anymore. I know Peppers played that position last year and is pretty much the same size as Douglass maybe a tad bit bigger. Devruan Thompson played MLB on the good Schiano teams and he was probably 200 lbs. But if it doesn't work, it's probably going to go down similar to the Mehringer decision. 28 year old kid at OC? 205 lb. converted defensive back at linebacker? It will either be a great move or a horrible move, there's no in between. I'm not bashing it because it could work but he can also go out there and just get flattened.
