Lets discuss roster building for next year and how we can put a competent product on the field. I really think best case scenario next year regardless of who the coach is, is 3-9/4-8
on defense we do have some pieces. Fogg, Fatukasi, Tverdov, Izien, Young (should move to FS), Tre Avery, Jennings, Kormah, Singleton, Lumor. Pretty much our entire DL outside of tverdov should ideally be regulated to being depth players reserved for giving guys rest in 2nd half. This is the 2 deep id have, 4-3 system

here’s the whole key to fielding a competitive team next year. One thing only, hit free agency HARD. Ive been saying this but I’ll say it again, the 2020 class should only be at most HALF high school kids and at least 12-13 transfers. Of those transfers it should be a pretty even mix of grad, juco and traditional.
traditional- Ta’quan roberson, nyquee hawkins, antonio alfano (IF IF IF our new coach trusts him), justin shorter (apparently really unhappy at PSU would be a miracle to land him though but just throwing his name in there).
JUCO- strictly OL and DL and maybe a WR
Grad Transfer- Guarantano, Safety, CB, OL, DL.
if schiano is the guy were gonna see alot of db’s trying to transfer here.
if we can do the above were still looking at probably 3-9/4-8 or so but wed be significantly more competitive and win a couple big ten games
