That ranking is based on the RPI. Three Big ten teams are lower ranked despite being ahead of Rutgers in the standings.
The coaching poll has Rutgers 14th ahead of 2 of the Big Ten teams ahead of them in the standings.

#11 in RPI likely gets the team in the Dance. Huge game on the Lake vs NW on Friday...beating them would be 2 bonafide Top 20 road wins and gives us more resume ammo on Selection Day.
