On Wednesday, it became clear just how far the program fell in the classroom. Rutgers' APR score was 948 for 2014-15, according to an NCAA release. That's a drop of 26 points from last year's score and a staggering 43-point decline from the 2012-13 score.
And that is part of why Flood is no longer here.
And this is before the turmoil last summer and fall. Next year's APR will probably be lower. And since it is a multi-year calculation, this will haunt us for several more seasons.
