Cali - team looks very quick AND fast. Maybe the quickest/fastest in a long time. Very decisive, as well, we're starting to see the changes in this team and the coaching now; love it!

It's the stick work they handle very well even the poles and their shooting has been much better. They have really focused on those two things in the off season and it has already paid off. Red shirting AC was in part based on Injury and in other parts him having to get used to playing at this level. The other concern is while that scored 19 goals they got very little production out of the middies, 2 from Tolliver 1 from Murphy, Sikora, and George. Now I am not sure if Trasolini scored but he will if we can get production out of Scarpello and Rose against better teams we will be in good shape. Just remember very little production from Jules, Holly and TrasThis could get interesting.
Nuts - Definitely moving in the right direction. We will see coming up as it is early, but there is no question the team is as deeper than it has been in a long time. Especially on offense. There are a lot of kids that can produce on that side. You can see their will was imposed on what looks to be an average St. John's team. There was an obvious talent display. I know the staff wants to play uptempo, so it was good to see that translate all game long. Should help recruiting too. Kids want to play this way. For a cold day, their stick skills were very sharp.

Jules went 1-2 and I thought played well. Traz was held scoreless, which isn't going to happen often. Ryan seems to produce every time he steps on the field. Was a really interesting game. Reminded me of a 90's style game. Not over coached, lots of transition, and kids making plays. Agreed about the shooting. Haven't seen us shoot that well across the board in a very long time.
