Someone must have needed dental work during the game because our Rich Dentist friend is nowhere to be found.
Ladies played great and congrats to them. Much needed win. Onward to beat OSU. Game was a pleasure to watch.
Don't worry. He will be back again when they lose of the chorus led by BAC is back criticizing CVS again.
Rutgers won the game against a ranked opponent is the only thing that matters .Starting another harangue against a Rutgers fan that isn't even making a comment on this thread serves no useful purpose.He could make the same comments when fans failed to respond after woeful Rutgers performances.Bottom line we should all root for Rutgers to win games but also to expect critical comments when the team doesn't play up to expectations.

true but pointing out the posters that only post when things are looking bad to complain and not cheer on the team during the good times , needs to be pointed out .
bac doesn't fit that category , because he cheers on RUWBB when they are winning and posts his support
Mr Gingivitis doesn't and 67 was right to bring up that Cavity , because that Tooth Decay hides when RUWBB is looking good
The women's basketball team played today, and won!? Wow would never have known it if I didn't come into the women's basketball forum.
The reporting on this site on anything that isn't Football, or Men's Basketball, is atrocious. That's what fans here should be upset about, and should do everything they can to change it! And, if there are any software techs. out there, start your own site for Rutgers Women's Basketball, include lacrosse, Soccer, Volleyball, Golf, etc., and those sports might just see an increase of eyeballs.
It's currently not reported, because it doesn't bring the big bucks, like football. So, if you really care about all sports at Rutgers, do something about it!

Madhat there is NO justification, NONE for that crank Old Timer. He or she should shut their mouth if they have nothing to contribute here. I've been on this forum since its inception for nearly two decades. I've been on the women's BB forum since its inception. You're rather new. I NEVER saw Old Timer here until recently. He or she is nothing but a pathetic old fart who contributes nothing. NOTHING!
And even though "the dentist" person usually only comes on here when they lose, it doesn't mean he's not a fan and wants to see RU succeed. He has as much right to comment as Old Fart has to criticize him. PERIOD!

BINGO...not sure why we continue to get personal attacks because of when and why people post. When the teams is performing poorly the posts will be negative, RU lost 5 out of 6 and looked every bit of awful in that stretch so no surprise negativity came out. If not there would not be any posts here as some here only post after wins and having nothing critical to say, not even in a 6-24 season. It was also Super Bowl Sunday so I am sure alot were not paying attention this yesterdays game and in addition alot of people probably checked out. I only heard some snippets on the radio.
I am very happy the team got a turn around yesterday and got a huge win. Potentially a NCAA season saving win. It could not afford to drop to 5-8 in league and then rely on beating 3 lessers to close out the year. The Michigan at least recharges their chances although the next two are still immense challenges they will have to get through. Kudos to the team and coaching staff for stepping up...especially CVS who seemed to trust in other players to handle bigger roles...and CVS has generally been owned by Kim Barnes the last decade so this win at this particularly time was a big one for her. They cannot rest on their laurels, have to take this as springboard to the NCAA, it will not mean anything if they revert back to former play so lets see where this goes.

Yes they have every right to post like you & I do, but their motives have every right to be questioned. Especially if they don't post when the team wins.
That must be taken into account and maybe the posters fanhood questioned. Why just post to complain after a loss and not after wins. That should make those defending posters like that wonder why.
As for oldtimer, if you and bac say dentist has every right to put the RUWBB program and HC down when things are not going well, why deny that old "fart" the right to complain about posters who only post when Rutgers is losing and never seem to care about the wins.
I also see oldtimer defending the team & Stringer along with sharing in the enjoyment when RUWBB is doing well.
As for being rather new, yes on this board I am but posted frequently on other boards following RU FB, MBB & WBB.
I have belonged to SN since 2001 ( under Madhat) and in 2003 had to add the 1 to name ( making new account) because of ISP change and forgot old password.
Just because I didn't post much, doesn't mean I wasn't checking this site.
Just that I was arguing on other sites and didn't feel like discussing the pony tailed shooters that some kept wanting Stringer to recruit.

true words and I fully agree: but when things are going well, wouldn't you assume someone who comes on after a loss to complain would occasional ( if a fan of the program) complement the team and HC after a win.
If not then I feel those posters motives need to be questioned and agenda pointed out.
As for insults:I admit I am guilty and apologize to all for stooping that low. As of now I will stop and try to generalize when pointing out when I think a poster has an agenda that doesn't look like he/she is a fan of RUWBB and//or CVS.

Feel better now? I have been on this site for a very long time. Some of us just don't feel the need to post 12 times in every thread.
BTW: I had season tickets in the barn. That was probably while you were still in diapers. And, I take college basketball seriously. I even drove 5 hours to see UCLA beat USC on Saturday at Pauley. But don't let any of this spoil your tantrum, it will probably make things easier for your nanny.

And when I and others come on this board to criticize Stringer or the way the women are playing, it comes from knowledge and analysis and not just to arbitrarily criticize. I am also one of the first to contribute on the game thread and I am the first to give her credit and the players credit when credit is due. If we only had people come on the women's BB board when things are hunky-dory then there would be nobody on this board.
Instead all you do here is act like some sort of Board Police. You're not even good at that. How about contributing here for once in your life. If you don't like some of the criticism, instead of criticizing the person or their info, why don't you actually participate and tell that person why you disagree? Are you capable of doing that? Madhat, you don't need to justify yourself to me. I know you've been around long enough and have contributed not just here but on most of the threads. Our banter back and forth for the most part has always been respectful. As for Oldtimer67, yes, he like the Dentist guy has a right to "complain" as you put it. But have you actually read one damn thing by the OLD FART where he's actually contributing to the conversation? I don't. All he does is act like he's the Board Police. If that's what he thinks contributing to this board is, then I don't want any part of him. He's a waste of my time.
