As far as I know she is still committed; She actually committed in 8th grade; She is from North Brunswick and has some serious goalkeeping in her blood as she is related to Tim Howard; My worry was she was ging to be to short but from the pictures I have seen she seems to have really grown
RU Dad do you have the list of our recruits for next year or are you just going by verbals? Either way let me know if you have the list
Very nice but is the date of the game really 12/7/20? If so it seems very early to be making selections.
Rich,Got the list of 11 commits for next year on Top Drawer Rutgers Women's Soccer Commitments. Don't know if they represent verbals or letters of intent or if letters of intent are able to be signed yet. Their listing of commits has always been accurate with the exception of late additions.
Just looked up the signing period for D1 womens soccer is November 11-14 so we will know pretty soon; are you going Sunday I can't make it as I will be on Long Island but in my optomistic spirit I am off next Friday so I am looking forward to the semi finals; I just checked the Big website and there are still no times announced for the quarterfinals but if I am reading that right I think we will be the last game on Sunday due to each game being on the big ten network. If its at night I may be able to make it
I looked up 2021 and I don't see Mia Justus listed but I do see Madison Tiernan's younger sister. I hope she is like Madison I loved her at RU
Night games are tougher for me[age-ugh] but yes I intend to go. Believe you are right. Looks like we will be the last game.
Don't see her listed either, though I believe I have seen her listed somewhere before as an RU commit. Hope she is still with us. Riley Tiernan is reported to be more talented than Madison, but not as physical.
I have seen Riley play high school ball against my daughters team. Always the best player on the field hands down. So technically sound and she is just a junior. Great play maker and can finish as well. Definitely correct - not as physical as her sister but she is just in her junior year. Surprised we didn't make a run at her team mate Kelly McGroarty as well.
Tiernan scored in OT to give her team the win yesterday in the SJG4 semis.
Eastern is ranked No. 7 in the nation currently.

Eastern lost to Hunterdon Central in the state semis 1-0. Pretty big upset but instead of playing on a neutral site they moved the game from Tuesday to Wednesday due to weather and they played at Hunterdon. Pretty crazy considering Eastern was the higher ranked team. And Emily Mason from Hunterdon from all accounts shut down Riley. Good news - they are both RU commits. Mason actually missed HC's prior state game to be with the U-20 national team. Got some good ones coming are way.
Yes, that is why I posted it. Hopefully the contract is signed by Monday. Coach Schiano really needs to hit the recruiting trail like Godzilla.
If they are not on this already, Rutgers should look at Lyght from Scotch Plains Fanwood - she will be a game changer on offense with her speed - she has high level track and field speed. She will display her athleticism and skills against HC in Group 4 state finals today at Kean.
