Without going into depth on Rutgers and their opponents, the win range is between 5 and 8. Iowa is treading water at best. I see them taking a small step back this year even with the new QB. And who the hell picked Purdue to beat Rutgers? That is a sh+t show right now and it's not getting better anytime soon. That is a long rebuild.

I hope we beat Illinois. Had to pay a guy (Illini grad) this week for a bet on that debacle football loss. At a sales meeting and the Illini guys giving me a hard time about the BB game tonight.
I’m thinking 6-8 wins. As much as I thought our team would be down from 2024 with our graduations, our QB and WR’s are much better and the portal may have elevated our losses on defense. We may end up better than 2024.
I see Oregano, OSu and PSU as the only sure losses.

And possibly @Washington would be a sure loss. Tough road game environment for sure. The success of the season hinges on the improvement of our D : Secondary and DL play need to be more competitive.
I’m not putting Washington as a sure loss. They have not earned that. I find it impossible to put any team we beat in 2024 as a sure loss.
I was going to say the same thing. We are giving Washington too much credit because of the name on the front of the Jersey
Washington had a good 2025 class but not that much better than ours and not elite impact players in year 1. And we are ranked ahead of them with our portal activity.
What I don't know is who they have returning who is significantly better at the end of 2024 vs when we played them or who they are losing to graduation.
One of the things I do like about our team is that the most important position on any team has improved dramatically since the time we played them. As has our WR room.
