I have been posting this weekly summary on the Round Table, it was suggested I do so here as well:

MEN’S GOLF
The men’s golf team spent Sunday-Tuesday in Madison, Wisconsin for the Badger Invitational. There they finished 11th out of 13, with a total score of +33, which translates to an average score of +2.75 per round. (The top four rounds per team per day are scored, for each of the three days.) The leading individual RU performer was Tony Jiang who finished 16th for the tournament at +1.

MEN’S SOCCER
Tough week for men’s soccer. They lost a heartbreaker on Tuesday, 2-1 in 2OTs to #4 Maryland. To make the loss more painful, they had an apparent game-winning goal waved off in the last minute of regulation. They then visited Columbus on Sunday where they dropped a 3-1 decision to Ohio State. Record stands at 0-3 in conference and 0-6 overall.

WOMEN’S GOLF
It was a successful weekend for the women’s golf team as they hosted the Rutgers Women’s Invitational. They finished second out of twelve, only behind Delaware. The team’s score was +70 which translates to a little under +6 per round. Special congratulations to Emily Mills, who won the individual championship by six strokes, finishing at +4 over three rounds.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
The #22 women’s soccer team rolled on, winning their B1G opener at home against Maryland by a score of 1-0. This improves their overall record to 6-1-1. As most of you know, last year’s Final Four team was honored at halftime of the football game.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
The women’s VB team spent the weekend at the Barn, hosting the Rutgers Invitational. The guests came from near (Princeton, Seton Hall), and far (Seattle, go figure?). Unfortunately the Scarlet Knights were all too gracious hosts, losing in straight sets to Princeton and Seattle, and then dropping a 3-2 heartbreaker to Seton Hall after winning the first two sets. The three losses drop their overall record to 4-9.
