I like this, IF, and it's a big IF, we can free him up for shots, because it doesn't appear as if he creates his own shot. Last year, he shot 44% from three. If he can shoot between 38-40%, I'm thrilled.
BosniaWhoa where the hell did this come from!?
Spot on comment.Rutgers brought in three outside shooters last season who had disappointing seasons because the half court offense lacked ball/player movement to create open 3 point shots from the corners.I like this, IF, and it's a big IF, we can free him up for shots, because it doesn't appear as if he creates his own shot. I would think a big guard who can play defense.@Richie O So I assume Zrno is essentially the wing/shooting guard they were looking for even though I saw him listed as a forward? Are they still looking for one more big for the 13th spot or any position at this point?
"He is also the first European player in the program since Oskar Palmquist, another sharpshooting wing."Spot on comment.Rutgers brought in three outside shooters last season who had disappointing seasons because the half court offense lacked ball/player movement to create open 3 point shots from the corners.
Cam Spencer was here like two years ago, does that count as ages these days?"He is also the first European player in the program since Oskar Palmquist, another sharpshooting wing."
Exciting addition (potentially) and hopefully a real "sharp Shooter" that we haven't had in AGES.
Relative to other recent RU players, his tape reminds me more of Spencer than Griffiths or even Palmquist. Not saying he is as good as Spencer, just what he reminds of, with how he moves and releases his shot.Just waiting for the Gavin Griffiths comparisons here from the peanut gallery.....LMAO......Go RU.....!!!!
