Rutgers basketball: Latest on 2025 recruiting targets, including trio of official visitors in September

Rutgers has shown interest in Keyshawn Tillary a 4 star pg from NYC and his high school buddy Mason Blackwood who is a New England native. They both are at the same NEPSAC prep school. Rutgers offered them both and asked them to come as a duo. No they don’t sing but they sure can hoop. Lino Mark an unknown quantity pg from California is also in their sights. Since RU offered his list of offers has increased. Odih another Californian shooting guard is also set to visit soon. He is is a highly recruited four star. Then there is a four star sf from Atlanta who said Rutgers was his dream school. Last name is something like Efiosa. RU needs to replenish the back court for next year. They probably will take three rising seniors and fill in from the portal. There is a five from Pennsylvania , Matt Gilhool, who we have been in contact with for a while who could fill in nicely for Martini and is a much sought after four star. Trey McKenny a top 25 sf may visit but word is that he may want to stay close to home in Michigan.

Seems like these are high rated recruits which is good, since it almost makes no sense to recruit high school kids who can’t contribute as college freshman anymore. Unless Pike sees something others don’t, 3-star recruits need to be a thing of the past for us.
