BTW - I do NOT like that Southam chick from Michigan. She played with a horrible attitude from the time we took the lead early in the game. She had that look at the entire game that she couldn’t believe they were losing. Constantly shaking her head and putting her hands on her hips and making faces.
Need to expand the Bauer Field Hockey stadium.
Post game interview. Think she just said we going for win the National title!!!! Love it.
Our first ever Big Ten Tournament championship! Field Hockey! Would have never guessed it. And #1 in the RPI too. Amazing job !!

1 trophy down, 1 to go. I hope the team brings the trophy with them to Yurcak and watches women's soccer's B1G Champ Game with it in the stands.
Admitted I know very little about field hockey and it makes my back hurt watching it, but way to go ladies! Made us proud!!!
I didn't see the first quarter so can't comment on that part, but... while Michigan had more possession in thr final three quarters, they had few real scoring opportunities in that time. Our defense played great. Well deserved CHAMPIONSHIP for our ladies!
The color commentator was very much rooting for Michigan even as she praised us. I think they said she played there so that is going to be part of it, if true.
I love that our player in the post-game interview (sorry, I missed the name) said we are going for the double (championship). Why not? Go R U!

Considering the bold happened the following are appropriate IMO…
Wasn't it the B1G Commissioner Warren handing out the trophies - he was at the game.
I love that first photo, with the team facing the crowd. Looks great! They've generated a lot of excitement on the Banks.
The mentioned she played for the Michigan coach at some point, not sure if it was at Michigan, probably. BTN should have realized they had a lot of new field hockey people watching this game - a little play-by-play would have been nice - I think they may have explained one foul the whole game, the rest was all analysis.
