Rutgers football schedule not among toughest in nation any longer

Adding Washington, Oregon, USC, and UCLA sure strengthens it.
Rutgers ?
I can't believe I just said that.

RU segment around 32:15

other big 10 scheduling news

Rutgers is "the chose team!!!!!"

Boom!!!!!!

"Is it crazy to say this team wins 9 or 10 games this year?"

Other guy says Va Tech could bring it to 8-4, will be a tough game.

Goes to 9-3 after some debate.

Defense will slow your game down--built for November in the Big 10.

Physicality and toughness. Strong team in the trenches on both sides.

AK needs to be consistent, don't turn ball over. Keep train rolling along. Win field position.

The way they play football, they are going to win a lot of these games. They look like an old Big Ten West team.

Possible B10 Saturday TV Games

Considering our easy schedule, we need to be at least 5-1 to try and get on Saturday TV.
With our lack of Oregon, Ohio St, Penn St, and Michigan........ One person didn't even consider us to hit any Saturday games. If we were 5-1, 7-2........ i am sure we would get on a couple of Saturday games.

Wishful thinking for a 10-2 record and hopefully USC and one of the final games is on Primetime.

In what world is anyone calling for 8/9/10 wins or more...I feel that by doing that- it only allows someone to B@@tch if we only win 7. lol

I do think that anything less than a bowl is a huge failure and I would love to see us do better than 6 regular season wins.

do we have at least a fighters chance in each game, I think we do. But 10 wins? We may not have the 4th or 5th hardest schedule like last year but it is still a damn tough schedule

I actually think we go 8-4....

The 10-2 was wishful thinking.

After last year and having pick 6s in games that we were competitive in, I think 8 wins is feasible without the 3 sure losses. Isn't the over under on us 7.5? 6 wins is a failure IMO. 7 wins and a bowl acceptable. 8 wins is progress in the new B10.

I see 6.5 as the over under. Seems like a good number.

Hopefully it won't come to it but it's a dam near guarantee that if the season turns south, there will be plenty of posts about how much harder and underrated the schedule was than everyone says.
