This is from a CVS quote in the Homes News last Thursday. The complete quote is "I think a lot of people don't realize how anemic and short-handed we've been for a long time" Are you kidding me. It's not April 1st.
I have been bothered by CVS's quotes in the newspapers for many years, and how periodically commented about it on the chat room.
I am so tired of her whining, blaming the players after every lose, except on rare occasions, and at times very inappropriate quotes.
Go back the past 10 years and the proof is in the pudding. The above quote is so ridiculous...I am speechless.
I remember a few years back, (when we had more McDonald All-Americans on our team than all the teams in the big east's combined history of McD AA's (except UCONN and ND) she complained that she didn't have the talent level she needed. Whine! And the last person I needed to hear from John (Put a player in to just rough things up. Which ended in the player fouling out in 5 minutes of play and a broken arm for an opposing player) Chaney, stating the same lack of talent on the team.
Blame, excuses, whining. So tired of the negative quotes about have bad the players played. And the ocassional VERY INAPPROPRIATE quote, like when she said that players should get psychiatric help. This one you can believe or not, because it was a number of years ago and I can't remember the specifics, but I will never forget how bad I felt for the players.
Just had to get this off my chest before April 30. Wishful thinking on that one!
