as the father of two girls who have recently applied to colleges, I am noticing that my kids as well as their friends are not seriously considering Rutgers. I would venture to say that there are more students from their NJ high school who are attending Penn State than Rutgers.
Just a perspective from someone who is very familiar with student decisions. I am not sure if this apathy toward RU is new or not but it cannot be making it easy on coach Ash
