Basketball Rutgers LIKELY to get invited to both Crown or NIT

Where is this money really coming from? How much does Fox Sports really going to pay for this garbage? Is content really this expensive?
In fairness - if it was last year and Ace and Dylan played there would’ve been plenty of hype,

Look it’s not happening. I’m just saying - from a practical standpoint, a second tiertournament held “after” the portal opens should theoretically welcome incoming transfer and HS participants and be marketed as a preview for the future. Seniors could still play but for the most part, any fan interest would be about how the pipe line stacks up against veterans.

It would then probably not be considered a college game, stats wouldn't count, etc.

One flaw in your post, none of those players are even registered at the school yet. And don't come back with exceptions can be made because no university legal department is going to sign off on such a thing.

As I said - it’s not happening or logistically possible. The other, even worse issue, is that even if the legal obstacles could be overcome, it’d also possible those kids would use the tournament as an advertisement for an even better NIL deal elsewhere and leave for another school.

The point I was making is that the tournament would be more interesting with prospects that with senior veterans plays who didn’t make the tourney.

If Rutgers accept the invitation to the crown and both Harper and Bailey sit out do they still get a piece of the pie $$$$?
