Unless I missed them, the new issue of Rutgers Magazine ,once again, has NO mention of the Spring Game, the 2016 schedule or 2016 Season Tickets information. I don't get why the school does not take the opportunity to reach hundreds of thousands of readers connected to Rutgers (not to mention random readers who see it at doctors offices, dentists offices, etc.)

Recent issue was a great one and yet the point Heaven makes is excellent and well taken. Part of the problem might be deadlines for copy before going to press. However that could be easily addressed with generich copy and information regarding the schedule and how to order tickets etc.

Again excellent point by Heaven.

The deadline for this issue was October 5. Would you like the winter edition to talk about Carroo's suspension and the guys arrested?

I have the last 20 years of the Rutgers Magazine. Please point to any winter issue that spoke about the football team.

October 5th deadline for a magazine we just got in February?
A little ridiculous .

Absolutely ridiculous. I've been in publishing for 30 years. A 10/5 deadline for an issue that arrives in subscribers' hands in late February makes zero sense.
It's a marketing piece. It's not an academic journal. And you're not actually subscribing to it. It's free. There's maybe 1 or 2 paid staffers, the rest are volunteers.

By the way, that 10/5 deadline was for the alumni notes. Since there are articles about Ash & women's soccer they obviously don't have that same deadline in the articles.

Yes, it would be great to have promos about a variety of aspects of Athletics like season tickets, Spring Game, even the summer camps and upcoming games and matches from the Olympic sports for the balance of the Spring semester. I've submitted the request to both sides - Alumni Relations and Athletics. No guarantees that it'll have an impact, but it's done. We'll see...
