The NIT is rich in tradition and was at one time more prestigious than the NCAA.
The tournament that I don't understand why it exists is the CBI. Look at this powerhouse lineup.

Yeah that is probably true about the NIT. IDK. Miami Dolphins were good in the 70’s.

The Redskins were good in the early 80’s, the Giants were good in the mid 80’s. Interesting for nostalgic purposes only.
