Rutgers Men's Basketball Opens Season Against Princeton

I hate facing a solid Princeton squad when a team with so many new faces is playing their first game.

Princeton runs a offense that most teams aren't prepared to guard which was the reason previous Rutgers coaches weren't in favor of playing Princeton.

It’s been stated here recently that Princeton is no longer running the Princeton offense.
 
I saw Iona beat Princeton at Union College last year. Iona won (Pitino did a great job of coaching), but Princeton was tough. They shoot great and they do not turn the ball over. Iona pressed Princeton and changed the tempo of the game, making them play at a speed they were uncomfortable with and took them out of their normal half court sets.

Princeton has a long history of beating more talented Rutgers teams.
 
Was told by somebody last night (who saw one of their scrimmages) that their Canadian guard is an impact player

ARRIVAL INFORMATION​

Arrive early, beat traffic, get the best parking!

BOX OFFICE:
  • The Box Office will OPEN at 11:00am on Monday.
  • Don't forget your tickets or to accept ticket transfers before you arrive.

GATES:
  • All gates will be OPEN for entry at 5:30pm.
  • NO re-entry will be permitted.
  • NO smoking in facility and NO designated areas.
  • Animals are not permitted in the building (except certified service dogs for the disabled).
  • METAL DETECTORS WILL BE IN USE FOR PATRON SAFETY.
  • Lockers are available for purchase near Gate A, but are limited and subject to availability.
SIGN POLICY:
  • Signs bigger than 18” x 24” are prohibited.
  • Sticks or clubs attached to signs are not permitted inside the area. Must be removed from sign.
  • Flags are permitted but cannot be attached to sticks/poles/the like.
  • No signs can be displayed that contain offensive language or images. In addition, no sign should contain free advertisements such as e-mail addresses, .com advertising, phone numbers or any other public establishments.

DOORS:
OPEN at 5:30pm

GAME TIME:
STARTS at 7:00pm

PARKING:
  • $20 Lots #1, #2, (Lot #2 suite holders & handicap only) CASH ONLY!
  • $10 Lot #4 (Shuttle available as needed) CASH ONLY!
