So today I learned there is an organization called Rutgers in the Netherlands.

"Rutgers - For Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights"

their website is http://www.rutgers.international

There is no relation to Rutgers University. I just thought it was weird to see something else with the Rutgers name.

"In 2010, Rutgers was established after a merger between the World Population Foundation (WPF) and the Rutgers Nisso Groep, the Dutch Expert Centre on Sexuality. Together we have a rich history in the Netherlands – starting as far back as 1881 - and an impressive reputation and network internationally."

Looking even deeper there was the "Rutgers Nisso Groep" wikipedia page:

"Rutgers WPF is a Dutch expert centre on sexuality, based in Utrecht.

Rutgers WPFp was established in 1999 as the result of a fusion between Rutgers Stichting (1969) and Nisso (1967). Rutgers WPF consists of two departments: Research and Development, and Implementation. They also have a Youth Sex Offender project and a Youth Incentives programme to promote sexual health. It is the International Planned Parenthood Federation's affiliate in the Netherlands."

Henry Rutgers was from a Dutch background. So not really that surprising I guess. I wonder how common a name it is in Dutch though?
