I know its only 3 games into the season but this is amazing. Kudos to the team and staff that have put the onus on rebounding and the quick improvement. Nice going'!!!!!!

I still remember playing Ohio State last year and Corey had rebound and kid who was maybe 6'8' just grabbed rebound over Corey and scored. This has been great.

Yes Yes. It's only 3 games but everyone else has played 3 games also and look where we were last year. Coaching staff has this team playing hard.

Some nice stats provided by www.scarletknights.com:

"The Scarlet Knights are among the national leaders in several categories, including rebounding margin (4th, 19.7), offensive rebounding (6th, 18.67) and total rebounds (10th, 49.0). Redshirt junior captain Deshawn Freemanis tied for the national lead with a pair of double-doubles."

Remember when Eddie said something like he can't teach rebounding?

wow...we are leading the nation...what a difference a REAL coach makes
basketball(not football) is the reason I will get the Big Ten Network

"I told them I’m not going through rebounding drills guys. That’s not in my package as a coach. Rebounding is about heart and nose for the ball and wanting to go get it. That’s just not me as a coach." -- Eddie Jordan

Once I heard that quote from him, they needed to fire him on the spot.

It is so nice to see improvement in our B-Ball team. I love rooting for these guys. Let's just keep the momentum going. One game at a time.

I think that's the problem when you hire a guy who spent so much time in the NBA where it's more about matchups and finding the right combinations. Maybe it works somewhere there's a lot of talent but when you're trying to build, you need to be a teacher.

Yes, we are still #1 in the number of offensive rebounds per game. We are now #3 in rebound differential over our opponents. We passed Wisconsin as we were #4 before last night's game where we outrebounded North Texas by 25 rebounds (53-28).
