Rutgers ranked 60 in 2016 US News Best Global Universities rankings

I know its a major publication but seeing "Rutgers State University" is a little disconcerting.

Sorry, I couldn't get past the first page where UCLA is #8 while Princeton is #13....

"Rutgers State University" isn't the same as "Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey."

For some reason, that's what RU is commonly referred to as in Asia and Europe.

i travel a fair amount. never heard of that. everyone i came across knew Rutgers. not once did i hear Rutgers State Univ.

when it comes to global ranking, it's Times.

us news is a joke.

Why would you be surprised.

UCLA conducts $943 million in annual research (2013) which ranks 8th nationally in research expenditures.

Princeton has no Medical School and only conducts only about $255 million in annual research (2013) which ranks 78th nationally in research expenditures.

Refer to the Center for Measuring University Performance as well as the criteria used in this evaluation.

Rutgers alums should be proud of a ranking of #60 as I am of Pitt achieving a ranking of #47.

Two great Universities

HAIL TO PITT!!!!
