Rutgers - Seton Hall will be a sellout....

I can't wait.
Hopefully both teams win their scheduled games leading up to this one.

If capacity is let's say 8k, what do you think the fan split will be?

6500 RU
1500 SHU

Or am I overestimating the SHU contingent?

Depends on who you'll be rooting for and how many SHU fans buy up those last 250 tickets that you're promoting on their board....

Promoting?

You don't think fans of other teams are aware of how to get tickets to games?

SHU fans follow Carino as do RU fans.
Go tell him how you feel.

If RU fans bought those 250 tickets already you wouldn't have to worry about them anyways.

They are up for grabs as of right now.

Should be an electric atmosphere

Are you even a Rutgers fan?

Posting how many tickets are left and at what price they can be had is promoting.

Caring gets paid to cover Rutgers and Seton Hall.

You're just a closet Seton Hall fan that's now out of the closet.

I don't think he is even a Rutgers fan.

He ran over to the Seton Hall board to start a thread titled "NJIT up early at Rutgers"

Why would a Rutgers fan do that?

Then in the thread told them 250 tickets left.

Totally wrong Jano.
Been posting on both boards for a while, for the zillionth time, I'm a long time fan of both teams in MBB

Jersey guy who didn't attend either school.

I understand that some fans on both sides don't like that and hate the other school.

But there are also NJ Sports fans like me who root for both programs.

Just like Philly fans who root for the local programs in Nova and St Joe's, etc.

Rivalry game within the state should result in a sellout .Seton Hall will have at least 2000 fans at the RAC and they will be located throughout the arena .Rutgers needs to play their best game of the season to maintain fan interest and not allow Seton Hall to dominate media attention.

Will mostly be in 200 and 300 as that was what was available on ticket sites.

Hey RU is due to get a quality win at home----nobody would complain if it's SHU.

200 corners still 40+3 fees on ru site. A lot of singles picking mine up today unless anyone has anything in the 100s for reasonable pricing

Michigan State did not have that many fans at the RAC. I have seen so many games at the RAC where the visiting teams had so many more fans. The Michigan State fans really were pretty quiet compared to many other teams that have visited RU. Syracuse fans were always so obnoxious. Last year Indiana fans came out of the woodwork in their clown pants. Maryland brought a lot of fans to the RAC as well.

I tend to think MSU fans suffer from that 2nd Class State of Mich thing.....I've always thought they could relate.

The problem is that outside of the season ticket holders and a very small group of others, no one, and I mean no one, knew or knows of these games. Meaning, the advertising is weak and needs to be upgraded. Announcing the games multiple times at home football games, is not enough. After MSU I heard a number of time, "gee, I wish I knew". I know Winning will raise the level of attention, but until we get there, advertising is important.

My guess is a 70/30 split in RU's favor.

Can we also get everyone to wear one single color to the game. Pick one. Is our primary color Red, White, Black, Grey. Pick one. There is nothing better than watching a game where the whole stadium is one color.

Well. it's Wear Scarlet day on December 16, they can't be any more clear.

It will be interesting to see the contrasting Red & Blue in the arena and yes, who in the 100 and courtside seats will sell their tickets to Hall fans.

He ran to the other board to state we were down to njit? Peculiar for an RU fan to do so. Sounds like a he needs a knitting group for some gossip.

The RAC Pass is supposed to guarantee entry for every home game. I wonder if they set aside seats or try SRO or what.

Agreed, I was quite surprised to see how many Indy fans were in the building last year and way too many of them sitting all around me in 103. MSU fans were quiet probably due to their surprise at how RU kept the score close most of the game! Those sitting by me were respectful, not obnoxious like the Twerps and Whoseyas fans.

RU has ordered 6000 hotdogs and at least a 24 pack of buns. They will be put on the weenie rollers promptly at tip off, fully cooked and ready for sale the following Tuesday.
